Public schools : Feb/Mar Aug/Sept – many other positions throughout the year.
N.B. Terms and rates are subject to change depending on the contract offered and international exchange rates.

Language schools (Hagwons) : All year round
What’s offered
- One – year contract with the possibility of renewal.
- 22 – 30 teaching hours per week (depending on position).
- Minimum of 1.9 – 2.8 million Korean Won (depending on experience & position)
- Tax : 3.5-7%
- Bonus : 1 month’s salary (as stipulated under Korean law)
- Accommodation (single or shared & furnished)
- Airfare : reimbursed on arrival or at end of contract
- Health insurance : this will commence after receiving ‘Alien Residence card’
